Access to quality healthcare can change lives, and this impact was recently felt in Kfarimene, Nabatieh, South Lebanon, where the local dispensary received essential medical equipment thanks to a global Rotary collaboration.
For this community, where resources are often limited and patients face daily challenges in accessing proper care, every new piece of equipment means improved services, renewed hope, and better health outcomes.
Mission Valley Rotary Evening and Mission Gorge Righteous Foundation (San Diego, California), represented by PP Abraham Sultan of the Rotary Club of Mission Gorge, joined hands with the Rotary Club of Beirut Cedars, represented by PP Imane Jaffal, to donate hospital beds and respiratory devices. These donations will directly support patients in need, improve comfort for those requiring long-term care, and strengthen
the dispensary’s capacity to respond to medical needs in the region.
This project is a shining example of Rotary’s ability to unite people across borders for a common purpose. It highlights how compassion, when translated into action, can deliver not only medical equipment, but also dignity, comfort, and hope to patients and their families, leaving a lasting impact on an entire community.
