Today the health sector in Lebanon faces a huge threat in a country suffering from a failed state, socio-economic crisis, and a surge in COVID-19 cases, reaching almost 7,000 cases per day.

The demand for oxygen concentrator machines has increased significantly.

“One oxygen concentrator machine keeps one bed empty in a hospital, allowing it to treat more critical patients” Dr. Grace Abi Rizk. The availability of those machines is very limited.

In those difficult times when 2.7 million Lebanese citizens are under the poverty line according to ESCWA August 2020 report, RC Beirut Cedars will provide 50 oxygen concentrator machines in the coming weeks.
